Dr. Bianchi won the REA award for conducting the project: “NasoAlveolar Molding in Unilateral Cleft Lip and Palate—A Three-dimensional Analysis of Treatment Effects and an Innovative Approach for Semi-automated NAM Plate Using 3D Printer.” For this project, together with Dr. Olivia Yue (co-investigator), we will evaluate the treatment changes in the conventional NAM approach towards an application of creating a semi-automated system to produce 3D printed plates in complete unilateral cleft lip and palate patients. We also welcome new researchers and collaborators to use the 3D printer in multi-center and disciplinary projects within the CRIL LAB.
